I'm a bit of a book hoarder. When I go on Amazon, I can't just buy one book (it seems like a waste of shipping to only get one) so I tend to get 2 or 3 at a time. I read everything that remotely appeals to me. I get this from my dad. And there is truly nothing better than reading a book you just can't put down. A book that stays with you all day and that you wake up at 5 am just to go read more. I've had a couple books like this in recent years like American Brutus, The Emperor of Ocean Park, Gone with the Wind and The Particular Sadness of Lemon Cake (all Amazon Links). There is something about a book that is "Unputdownable". Something that captures the imagination and transports you from one place to the other without ever leaving the couch. Something that inspires your inner most self to do SOMETHING.
What books have you read recently that fit this description?
