At Age 31, I Was a Pregnant Widow
Being a widow is no picnic. I speak from experience. And if you're a widow as well, I'm so sorry for your loss. I am, however, very glad that you're here because simply the fact that you're looking at this site tells me that you're looking for more. More peace. More energy. More life. Whatever your "more" is, it's out there. I help women like you find it.
What you're going through is awful. No one should have to go through something like that. The fact that you're still here tells me you have work to do. A mission to complete. Do you feel it? Under all the grief and through all the tears, can you sense that truth? That you have something out there that is calling your name, even now that your spouse / life partner is gone?
There are so many things I want to say on this page, but really, there is only one thing to say: YOU CAN DO THIS. You can rise above the grief and heartache and take your place in this awesome thing called life. And you don't have to forget your pain to do it.
Yes, Life is Hard. But also, Yes, Life is Beautiful.
Life is hard. And if you haven’t noticed, life seems to be getting harder for a lot of people. Have you fallen down? Are you trying to claw your way back out of whatever hole you find yourself in right now? I have amazing news for you:
You are not alone.
If you had any idea how many other people have read this blog and nodded just like you did when you get into the articles I’ve created, you’d be amazed. Not because there’s so many people out there reading this, but because there are so many people that are experiencing the same ups and downs as you are.
In fact, I am one of those people. I am someone who has been knocked down (by both internal and external forces) more times than I care to count. But you know what? I am still here.
A Lighter Soul is all about learning to breathe easier. To feel an emotional freedom that didn't exist before. To discover who you truly are, what you truly want and what you're truly here to do. A Lighter Soul is about finding the peace and joy in the moment, not after the chaos has subsided. It’s about picking yourself up, dusting yourself off and learning the beauty of living a resilient life.
